“It opened my eyes to ecology and wildlife. I got to see mammals and insects that are specific to the Swiss Alps and I learned about how they cope with the weather and altitude. The camp environment was very good, and we had lots of laughs together. The leaders were inspiring and helpful, always spreading joy and keeping us motivated. Overall, this experience will be missed.”

Hannah Svindland Kerr, Norway

“The field research was very interesting. Thanks to this, I learned much more about the fauna and flora of Graubünden and mainly its orthopterans.; This week has strengthened my desire to work in biology and especially entomology. “
Cindy Bourquenod, Switzerland

“That was awsome to see what does „to be researcher“ mean. Furthermore, that was a fantastic experience to meet other young scientists who are interested in the same topics. Moreover, big thank you for the beautiful area where the week has taken place.”
Boglarka Toth, Hungary

“The people made the week unforgettable! It was a pleasure to meet people all over the world. It was interesting to talk to the four experienced leaders/biologists about their daily work and recommendations for studies.”
Lisa Scherrer, Switzerland
