L’edizione di quest’anno della settimana di studio “Fascinating Informatics” si è svolta tra l’8 e il 13 settembre 2019. Per questa occasione oltre ai nostri partner collaudati, l’Università di Berna, la FHNW di Brugg-Windisch, l’USI e PwC Svizzera, abbiamo potuto contare sulla presenza per la prima volta l’Università di Basilea. I 33 giovani partecipanti, tutti estremamente motivati, hanno avuto modo di dedicarsi per un’intera settimana a uno degli 11 progetti proposti, immergendosi nell’affascinante mondo dell’informatica. I responsabili che hanno seguito i giovani durante le loro attività sul posto hanno presentato un’offerta di progetti interessanti e stimolanti: lo sviluppo dal vivo di un gioco al computer, la programmazione di apparecchi IoT (Internet of Things) o lo sviluppo di “Intelligent Guardian”, un guardiano in grado di riconoscere automaticamente oggetti. I risultati raggiunti nell’ambito di questi ed altri progetti possono essere letti nelle relazioni riportate sotto.
I learned a lot about possibilities of a single board computer, processing roles, neural systems and more. Being busy with informatics for a whole week showed me my interest to study in this direction.
